Most people know that I’m not really a fan of buying prepackaged stuff that I can make myself cheaper and healthier. But, what I am a fan of is convenience. So, quick and easy is a requirement. I love to make my own taco seasoning mix. I can control what I put in it, its healthier, and fresh-and fresh ALWAYS tastes better. . Most of those packets contain a ton of sodium and all the ones I looked at had sugar as an ingredient. With sugar seemingly hiding in everything these days, it doesn’t seem to be a necessary ingredient in taco seasoning.
This takes less than 5 minutes to make. Store it in a mason jar and its ready to use whenever you need it! 3 Tablespoons is the equivalent of 1 of those little packets.
D.I.Y. Taco Seasoning….Say goodbye to those little packets forever!
