The New York Baby Show returned to Pier 94 in NYC again this year with an amazing line up of brands old and new, products, services. I loved walking the show to check out the latest and greatest in the kids and baby world. The Blogger Lounge hosted by Momtrends is always a great place to catch up with friends, grab lunch catered by Boston Market and recharge.
One of the trends definitely emerging that I was happy to see was the movement towards sustainability, organic, chemical free products in everything from baby toddler food services, to natural remedies, to furniture. Happy to see the tides are turning and that brands are responding to what us Moms want (and don’t want) in our products! With so many items and brands to choose from, it was hard to narrow it down!
Here are my faves from this years New York
Baby Show:
Chess at 3 : Story Time Chess
As a Mom of a Chess Girl, I LOVE this everything about this! Teach kids as young as 3 (or parents like me that have no clue how to play lol) how to play chess through a story book and chess pieces that are actual characters from the story. Each of the characters have personalities and character traits that determine how the pieces move. Fun and educational!
Functional meets modern design! And perfect for small spaces. I love the sleek ,modern designs of the line of cribs, high chairs, and loungers. And the best part? Bloom uses sustainable woods, recyclable plastics & metals and low VOC finishes. All products are free of lead, BPA, phthalates, PVC, formaldehyde and MDF. The less we can expose our kids to chemicals and toxins from the beginning the better!

Bloom Baby
Not a new product, but a really important service.
